• Magnet® Hospitals Improve Outcomes for Preterm Infants, New Study Shows
  New findings from an interdisciplinary team of prominent U.S. researchers led by Drs. Eileen Lake and Jeannette Rogowski, show that very-low-birth weight babies born in Magnet®-recognized hospitals have better outcomes than those born in non-Magnet hospitals. The research findings appear in the April 25 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association.

  The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, announced a joint marketing agreement between the Magnet Recognition Program® and The Journal of Nursing Administration (JONA). Beginning with the October 2011 issue, JONA will become "The Official Leadership Journal of the Magnet Recognition Program."
